Carol is trained in conducting a range of assessments to support educational needs and support provision.

Cognitive
A cognitive assessment is designed to provide a comprehensive picture of a person’s abilities and is used for diverse applications such as identifying intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities/disorders and evaluating of cognitive processing strengths and weaknesses.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
An ASD assessment is a multi-disciplinary assessment (psychologist and speech and language therapist) which includes a parent interview and a play-based assessment.


ADD/ADHD
A thorough assessment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and its most common comorbid problems and disorders is a multi-informant assessment that takes into account home, social and school settings, with rating forms for parents, teachers and individual.
Sensory profile
A sensory profile provides a standard method to measure a person’s sensory processing abilities and to profile the effect of sensory processing on functional performance in the daily life of the individual.


Educational Assessment
An educational assessment measures ability across multiple academic areas including reading, writing, mathematics, oral expression and listening comprehension. It is usually conducted in conjunction with a cognitive assessment to provide a comprehensive educational assessment.
Dyslexia
A dyslexia assessment can provide a profile of the student’s strengths and weaknesses, to inform appropriate recommendations to support a student’s needs.
